While autumn is settling in all around us, we know you’re ready to start decorating and entertaining for the season. The floral professionals at Norfolk Florist have some great tips for creating a lasting and stunning tablescape the season.
Using a mix of water and flower food, soak floral foam just until saturated. Don’t over-soak or leave too long- the foam will begin to disintegrate.
Place greenery evenly in the foam, leaving plenty of space. You should still be able to see most of the foam, even after adding foliage.
After cutting flower stems short and at an angle, clean excess foliage from stems. Add flowers to floral foam by distributing evenly.
View your design from every angle to be sure it looks full and even on every side. Read More about An Autumn Centerpiece For Your Table »

Energize and invigorate your space by going beyond fall colors this year. Use harvest-inspired textures like dried corncobs, rustic wooden containers and tall tree branches to add depth, height and dimension to your home.
Bring a warm, positive vibe indoors with subtle hues accented by pops of bright oranges and yellows. Pumpkins, squash, oranges and lemons artfully displayed among floral arrangements with a variety of shapes will give your entire home a peaceful coziness.
The fragrance of fresh baked apples and cinnamon or crisp fall leaves will evoke memories of times gone by, adding a nostalgic touch to your decor. Read More about Vibrant, Textured Decor For Fall »
