3 Flower Types She Will Love For a Back To School Gift

It’s an understatement to say that back to school time isn’t exactly the most wonderful time of the year, both for your student, school staff members and even parents. That’s why anything that you can do to make the transition from summer vacation to a new school year easier should be considered. And sometimes, it’s the little things, like floral arrangements, that can make the biggest difference.

With that being said, here’s a look at three popular arrangements that can make for a great back to school gesture for the deserving parties in your situation, whether they be your student, a principal, teacher or bus driver:

  • Sunflowers: Sunflowers often stand for “adoration” and “longevity.” Whether or not that plays into the recipient you have in mind may be up for debate, but what’s not up for debate is the warm and happy feelings that they often evoke. What’s more is that they look great just about anywhere – whether it’s an office, classroom, etc.
  • Daisy and Rose Bouquet: When it comes to giving flowers for back to school season, be sure to give something that’s happy and cheerful. We already covered one example in the sunflower above – but another great arrangement to gift is some sort of daisy and rose bouquet. While most associate roses with romance, the right colored rose can also evoke happiness and cheer. For extra bonus points, consider giving the bouquet in a specialty mug or vase, such as the one offered at our floral store.
  • “Joy” Bouquet: Again, sticking with a happy and cheerful theme, an assortment of daisies, lilies, roses and carnations can really brighten up and add cheer to a room or an office. Throw in a glass vase and it can really do wonders for the arrangement overall. The bottom line with this arrangement is that it’s a little bit of everything, so if you’re not sure what type of flower your recipient prefers, it’s a safe bet as it includes all of the above.

As we mentioned in the opening, back to school time can be a major bummer. That’s why anything that you can do to make it special – for all parties involved – should be considered. Flowers are one way to bring an unexpected smile to the face of your recipient.
